The ZNF644 (zinc finger protein 644) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

Zinc finger protein 644 (ZNF644), also known as zinc finger motif enhancer-binding protein 2 (Zep-2), is a protein encoded by the ZNF644 gene in humans. Mutations in this gene have been linked to isolated cases of severe nearsightedness (high myopia).

ZNF644 is also known as BM-005, MYP21, NatF, ZEP-2.
