ZNF618

Description

The ZNF618 (zinc finger protein 618) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 9.

ZNF618 regulates the function of UHRF2, a protein that specifically recognizes 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC) in DNA, by controlling where UHRF2 binds to the chromatin.

ZNF618 is also known as FP13169, NEDD10.
