ZNF518A

Description

The ZNF518A (zinc finger protein 518A) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 10.

ZNF518A participates in gene silencing by interacting with two histone methyltransferase complexes: EHMT1-EHMT2/G9A and PRC2/EED-EZH2. This interaction allows ZNF518A to regulate the methylation of histone tails at the promoters of target genes, leading to gene silencing.

ZNF518A is also known as ZNF518.
