ZFP91-CNTF

Description

The ZFP91-CNTF (ZFP91-CNTF readthrough (NMD candidate)) is a ncRNA gene located on chromosome 11.

ZFP91-CNTF, also known as Zinc finger protein 91 homolog (mouse), ciliary neurotrophic factor transcription unit, is a human gene located on chromosome 11. It shares its location with the CNTF gene, and while both genes produce independent transcripts, a co-transcribed transcript exists as well. This co-transcript encodes for a ZFP91 isoform but does not encode for a CNTF protein.

ZFP91-CNTF is also known as ZFP91, ZNF757, Zfp-91.
