ZFP91

Description

The ZFP91 (ZFP91 zinc finger protein, atypical E3 ubiquitin ligase) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 11.

ZFP91 (Zinc finger protein 91 homolog) is a protein encoded by the ZFP91 gene in humans. It belongs to the zinc finger family of proteins and contains C2H2 type domains, typical of many nucleic acid-binding proteins. The gene produces a monocistronic transcript and a co-transcribed variant containing ZFP91 and CNTF sequences, leading to distinct protein isoforms. This co-transcription pattern has also been observed in mice.

ZFP91 is also known as DMS-8, DSM-8, DSM8, FKSG11, PZF, ZFP-91, ZNF757.
