ULK4

Description

The ULK4 (unc-51 like kinase 4) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

ULK4, a serine/threonine-protein kinase, likely plays a role in the rearrangement of cytoskeletal components, particularly alpha-tubulin. This rearrangement process contributes to the regulation of neurite branching and elongation, ultimately affecting cell movement.

ULK4 is also known as FAM7C1, REC01035.
