TRMT11

Description

The TRMT11 (tRNA methyltransferase 11 homolog) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 6.

TRMT11 is a key component of a complex responsible for modifying tRNA molecules. It uses S-adenosyl-L-methionine as a cofactor to add a methyl group to the guanosine nucleotide at position 10 (m2G10) within tRNA molecules.

TRMT11 is also known as C6orf75, MDS024, TRM11, TRMT11-1.
