TRIM60

Description

The TRIM60 (tripartite motif containing 60) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 4.

TRIM60 acts as an E3 SUMO-protein ligase, attaching SUMO tags to TAB2. This modification inhibits the NF-kappa-B and MAPK signaling pathways by disrupting the TRAF6/TAB2/TAK1 complex.

TRIM60 is also known as RNF129, RNF33.
