Description:

The tp73-as1 gene, also known as antisense transcript of TP73, resides on chromosome 1p36.33. It encodes a non-coding RNA molecule, a type of RNA that does not translate into a protein. The tp73-as1 RNA has been found to play significant roles in various biological processes, including gene regulation, cell cycle control, and apoptosis.
