TMEM47
Description
The TMEM47 (transmembrane protein 47) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome X.
TMEM47, or Transmembrane protein 47, is a protein encoded by the TMEM47 gene in humans. It belongs to the PMP22/EMP/claudin protein family and is located in the endoplasmic reticulum and the plasma membrane. In dogs, high levels of TMEM47 transcripts are found in the brain.
TMEM47 is also known as BCMP1, TM4SF10, VAB-9.
