THADA

Description

The THADA (THADA armadillo repeat containing) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.

THADA, in collaboration with the methyltransferase FTSJ1, modifies tRNA molecules by adding a methyl group to the 2'-O-ribose of the nucleotide located at position 32 within the anticodon loop of the tRNA.

THADA is also known as ARMC13, GITA, Trm732.
