TAMM41

Description

The TAMM41 (TAM41 mitochondrial translocator assembly and maintenance homolog) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

TAMM41 catalyzes the transformation of phosphatidic acid (PA) into CDP-diacylglycerol (CDP-DAG). CDP-DAG is a crucial intermediate in the production of phosphatidylglycerol, cardiolipin, and phosphatidylinositol.

TAMM41 is also known as C3orf31, COXPD56, RAM41, TAM41.
