SYT16


Description

The SYT16 (synaptotagmin 16) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 14.

SYT16 may play a role in the movement and release of secretory vesicles in cells outside of the nervous system. This process does not require calcium ions.

SYT16 is also known as CHR14SYT, SYT14L, Strep14, syt14r.
