SUSD6
Description
The SUSD6 (sushi domain containing 6) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 14.
SUSD6 may play a role in growth suppression and cell death, possibly by influencing the production of chemokine molecules in umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) exposed to inflammatory stimuli. It might also contribute to tumor suppression. These observations are supported by experimental evidence (PubMed:20236627, PubMed:24652652).
SUSD6 is also known as DRAGO, KIAA0247.
