STRADB
Description
The STRADB (STE20 related adaptor beta) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.
STRADB is a pseudokinase that, in complex with CAB39/MO25, interacts with and activates STK11/LKB1. STRADB adopts a closed conformation characteristic of active protein kinases, binding to STK11/LKB1 as a pseudosubstrate. This interaction promotes a conformational change in STK11/LKB1, transitioning it into an active state.
STRADB is also known as ALS2CR2, CALS-21, ILPIP, ILPIPA, PAPK, PRO1038.
