STAC2

Description

The STAC2 (SH3 and cysteine rich domain 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.

STAC2 plays a supportive role in boosting the presence of the calcium channel CACNA1S on the cell surface, leading to enhanced channel activity. It also slows down the inactivation of the calcium channel CACNA1C.

STAC2 is also known as 24b2, 24b2/STAC2.
