SRPX


Description

The SRPX (sushi repeat containing protein X-linked) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome X.

SRPX is a protein that is encoded by the SRPX gene in humans. Bioinformatics analysis suggests that SRPX is a peroxiredoxin.

SRPX may play a role in phagocytosis during disk shedding, cell adhesion to cells other than the pigment epithelium, or signal transduction.

SRPX is also known as DRS, ETX1, HEL-S-83p, SRPX1.
