SRGAP3

Description

The SRGAP3 (SLIT-ROBO Rho GTPase activating protein 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

SRGAP3 is a human gene that encodes an enzyme called SLIT-ROBO Rho GTPase-activating protein 3.

SRGAP3 acts as a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) for RAC1 and potentially Cdc42, but not for RhoA. It likely plays a role in reducing RAC1 signaling within neurons.

SRGAP3 is also known as ARHGAP14, MEGAP, SRGAP2, WRP.
