SPRR2G

Description

The SPRR2G (small proline rich protein 2G) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

SPRR2G, a cross-linked envelope protein of keratinocytes, undergoes a transformation process within the cell. Initially present in the cytosol, it eventually becomes linked to membrane proteins through the action of transglutaminase. This linking process culminates in the formation of a durable, insoluble envelope located beneath the plasma membrane.

SPRR2G is also known as -.
