SPICE1
Description
The SPICE1 (spindle and centriole associated protein 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.
SPICE1 plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate cell division by regulating centriole duplication, forming a properly structured spindle, and ensuring that chromosomes align correctly during mitosis.
SPICE1 is also known as CCDC52, SPICE.
