SNX30

Description

The SNX30 (sorting nexin family member 30) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 9.

SNX30 plays a crucial role in regulating endocytosis, a process where cells internalize substances, and participates in various steps of intracellular trafficking, the movement of molecules within the cell. Collaborating with SNX4, SNX30 contributes to the formation of autophagosomes, specialized vesicles involved in the breakdown and recycling of cellular components.

SNX30 is also known as ATG24A.
