SNRK
Description
The SNRK (SNF related kinase) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.
The SNRK gene encodes an enzyme called SNF-related serine/threonine-protein kinase. This enzyme is found in humans.
This protein may play a role in hematopoietic cell proliferation or differentiation, and it may also act as a mediator of neuronal apoptosis. These conclusions are supported by experimental evidence, including data from UniProtKB (Q63553) and PubMed articles (12234663, 15733851).
SNRK is also known as HSNFRK.
