SNORD97

Description

The SNORD97 (small nucleolar RNA, C/D box 97) is a snoRNA gene located on chromosome 11.

SNORD97 is a small nucleolar RNA (snoRNA) that is involved in the modification of other RNAs. It is thought to guide the methylation of uridines (U) to pseudouridines (Ψ) in ribosomal RNA (rRNA). SNORD97 does not encode a protein. It is a non-coding RNA.

SNORD97 is also known as U97.
