SNAP91

Description

The SNAP91 (synaptosome associated protein 91) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 6.

SNAP91 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SNAP91 gene. It is also known as Clathrin coat assembly protein AP180.

SNAP91, also known as AP180, is a protein that helps to assemble clathrin coats, which are important for the formation of coated vesicles. Coated vesicles are small, membrane-bound sacs that transport molecules within cells. SNAP91 binds to clathrin triskelia, causing them to assemble into coats. This process is essential for the formation of coated vesicles.

SNAP91 is also known as AP180, CALM.
