SIPA1L1

Description

The SIPA1L1 (signal induced proliferation associated 1 like 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 14.

SIPA1L1 is a protein encoded by the SIPA1L1 gene in humans.

SIPA1L1 stimulates the GTPase activity of RAP2A, promotes reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton, and recruits DLG4 to F-actin. It also contributes to the regulation of dendritic spine morphogenesis.

SIPA1L1 is also known as E6TP1, SPAR1.
