SHROOM4

Description

The SHROOM4 (shroom family member 4) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome X.

SHROOM4 is believed to be a key regulator of the cytoskeleton, contributing significantly to the developmental processes of the body. It appears to exert its influence by orchestrating the arrangement of myosin II within cells, ultimately affecting the structure and organization of both the cell and its cytoskeleton.

SHROOM4 is also known as MRXSSDS, SHAP, shrm4.
