SH2D2A

Description

The SH2D2A (SH2 domain containing 2A) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

SH2 domain-containing protein 2A is a protein encoded by the SH2D2A gene in humans. It interacts with MAP3K2.

SH2D2A is thought to act as a T-cell-specific adapter protein, regulating T-cell activation. It may contribute to the CD4-p56-LCK-dependent signal transduction pathway. Additionally, SH2D2A could be involved in both normal and pathological angiogenesis. As an adapter protein, it potentially facilitates and controls interactions between KDR and effector proteins, crucial for endothelial cell survival and proliferation.

SH2D2A is also known as F2771, SCAP, TSAD, VRAP.
