SEMA6D

Description

The SEMA6D (semaphorin 6D) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 15.

SEMA6D exhibits growth cone collapsing activity on dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons in vitro. It is believed to act as a stop signal for DRG neurons reaching their target areas, potentially also affecting other neurons. SEMA6D may further participate in the maintenance and remodeling of neuronal connections.

SEMA6D is also known as -.
