SEMA3C

Description

The SEMA3C (semaphorin 3C) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 7.

Semaphorin-3C is a protein produced by the SEMA3C gene in humans.

Semaphorin-3C interacts with plexin family members, contributing significantly to developmental regulation. It is essential for the normal development of the cardiovascular system during embryogenesis. Acting as an attractant for growing axons, Semaphorin-3C plays a critical role in axon growth and guidance.

SEMA3C is also known as SEMAE, SemE.
