SEH1L
Description
The SEH1L (SEH1 like nucleoporin) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 18.
SEH1L is a component of the Nup107-160 subcomplex, which is essential for building a functional nuclear pore complex (NPC). The Nup107-160 subcomplex also plays a critical role in the proper attachment of microtubules to kinetochores during cell division, ensuring accurate chromosome segregation.
SEH1L is also known as SEC13L, SEH1A, SEH1B, Seh1.
