Description
The SDCBP2 (syndecan binding protein 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 20.
Syntenin-2 is a protein encoded by the SDCBP2 gene in humans.
Syntenin-2 binds to phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2) and may contribute to the organization of nuclear PIP2, cell division, and cell survival.
SDCBP2 is also known as SITAC, SITAC18, ST-2, ST2.
