RTP4
Description
The RTP4 (receptor transporter protein 4) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.
RTP4 is a human gene that encodes a protein involved in the trafficking and functional expression of certain G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs). It is known to promote the functional expression of the bitter taste receptor TAS2R16 and the opioid receptor heterodimer OPRD1-OPRM1.
RTP4 is also known as IFRG28, Z3CXXC4.
