RSBN1

Description

The RSBN1 (round spermatid basic protein 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

RSBN1, also known as KDM9, is a histone demethylase. It specifically removes dimethyl groups from lysine 20 on histone H4 (H4K20me2). This process alters the structure of chromosomes.

RSBN1 is also known as KDM9, ROSBIN.
