RRP1
Description
The RRP1 (ribosomal RNA processing 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 21.
RRP1, encoded by the RRP1 gene, is the human homolog of the yeast ribosomal RNA processing protein RRP1. It plays a critical role in processing ribosomal RNA.
RRP1 is essential for the production of 28S rRNA.
RRP1 is also known as D21S2056E, NNP-1, NOP52, RRP1A.
