RPRD1A

Description

The RPRD1A (regulation of nuclear pre-mRNA domain containing 1A) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 18.

RPRD1A interacts with the phosphorylated C-terminal heptapeptide repeat domain (CTD) of the largest RNA polymerase II subunit POLR2A. This interaction is involved in the dephosphorylation of the CTD by RPAP2. RPRD1A may also act as a negative regulator of cyclin-D1 (CCND1) and cyclin-E (CCNE1) in the cell cycle.

RPRD1A is also known as HsT3101, P15RS.
