RPP30

Description

The RPP30 (ribonuclease P/MRP subunit p30) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 10.

Ribonuclease P protein subunit p30 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the RPP30 gene.

RPP30 is a component of ribonuclease P (RNase P), a ribonucleoprotein complex that generates mature tRNA molecules by cleaving their 5'-ends. It is also a component of the MRP ribonuclease complex, which cleaves pre-rRNA sequences.

RPP30 is also known as TSG15.
