RNF6 (Ring Finger Protein 6) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with RNF6 include Esophageal Cancer and Esophagus Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Among its related pathways are Class I MHC mediated antigen processing and presentation and Innate Immune System.  RNF6 functions as a ubiquitin ligase. Its functions are not entirely known, but research shows that it is involved in human cancer development. Initially, this gene was considered to be a tumor suppressor.
