RNF182

Description

The RNF182 (ring finger protein 182) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 6.

RNF182 is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that mediates the ubiquitination of ATP6V0C, leading to its degradation through the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway (PubMed:18298843). Additionally, RNF182 plays a role in suppressing the TLR-triggered innate immune response by mediating Lys-48-linked ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of RELA, a component of NF-kappa-B (PubMed:31432514).

RNF182 is also known as -.
