RIMKLB

Description

The RIMKLB (ribosomal modification protein rimK like family member B) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 12.

RIMKLB catalyzes the synthesis of beta-citryl-L-glutamate and N-acetyl-L-aspartyl-L-glutamate. The synthesis of beta-citryl-L-glutamate occurs more efficiently compared to the synthesis of N-acetyl-L-aspartyl-L-glutamate.

RIMKLB is also known as FAM80B, NAAGS, NAAGS-I.
