RILPL2
Description
The RILPL2 (Rab interacting lysosomal protein like 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 12.
RILPL2 is involved in cell shape and neuronal morphogenesis, positively regulating the establishment and maintenance of dendritic spines. It plays a role in cellular protein transport, including protein transport away from primary cilia. It may function via activation of RAC1 and PAK1.
RILPL2 is also known as RLP2.
