RHPN2

Description

The RHPN2 (rhophilin Rho GTPase binding protein 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 19.

Rhophilin-2 is a protein encoded by the RHPN2 gene in humans.

Rhophilin-2 specifically binds to GTP-Rho and may play a role in regulating Rho signaling. It potentially limits the formation of stress fibers and promotes the turnover of F-actin structures when RhoA activity is low.

RHPN2 is also known as P76RBE, RHOBP.
