RGS22

Description

The RGS22 (regulator of G protein signaling 22) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.

RGS22 inhibits signal transduction by accelerating the GTPase activity of G protein alpha subunits, leading to their inactivation by transitioning them to the GDP-bound state.

RGS22 is also known as CT145, PRTD-NY2.
