RDH10
Description
The RDH10 (retinol dehydrogenase 10) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.
RDH10 is a retinol dehydrogenase that specifically uses NADP as a cofactor. It converts all-trans-retinol to all-trans-retinal. Notably, it lacks activity towards other retinol isomers, including 11-cis-retinol, 9-cis-retinol, and 13-cis-retinol.
RDH10 is also known as SDR16C4.
