RASSF6

Description

The RASSF6 (Ras association domain family member 6) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 4.

RASSF6 plays a role in initiating programmed cell death (apoptosis) through both caspase-dependent and caspase-independent pathways. It may act as a mediator for Ras signaling. Additionally, it might suppress the basal levels of NF-kappa-B, a transcription factor involved in immune responses.
