RABL3

Description

The RABL3 (RAB, member of RAS oncogene family like 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

RABL3 plays a crucial role in regulating KRAS signaling and controlling cell proliferation. It acts as a regulator of KRAS prenylation, a process essential for KRAS activation, and potentially influences the prenylation of other small GTPases. Additionally, RABL3 is vital for lymphocyte development and function, but it is not required for the development of myeloid cells.

RABL3 is also known as PNCA5.
