PTCHD1-AS

Description

The PTCHD1-AS (PTCHD1 antisense RNA (head to head)) is a ncRNA gene located on chromosome X.

PTCHD1-AS is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) located on the X chromosome. It is thought to play a role in regulating the expression of PTCHD1, a gene involved in brain development. PTCHD1-AS is believed to function as a sponge for microRNAs, preventing them from silencing PTCHD1 mRNA and promoting PTCHD1 expression.

PTCHD1-AS is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) that is located on the X chromosome. It has been shown to play a role in regulating the expression of PTCHD1, a gene that is involved in the development of the brain. PTCHD1-AS is thought to act as a sponge for microRNAs, which are small RNA molecules that can regulate gene expression. By binding to microRNAs, PTCHD1-AS can prevent them from binding to and silencing PTCHD1 mRNA, thus promoting the expression of PTCHD1.

PTCHD1-AS is also known as DDX53-AS1, PTCHD1AS1, PTCHD1AS2.
