The PREX2 (phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate dependent Rac exchange factor 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.

PREX2 is a human protein encoded by the PREX2 gene. Mutations in this gene have been associated with melanoma.

PREX2 is also known as DEP.2, DEPDC2, P-REX2, PPP1R129.
