Description

The PPIAL4C (peptidylprolyl isomerase A like 4C) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

PPIAL4C, like other PPIases, helps proteins fold correctly. It does this by speeding up the change of proline amino acids within a protein from one shape to another.

PPIAL4C is also known as COAS-2.
