PPFIBP2

Description

The PPFIBP2 (PPFIA binding protein 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 11.

PPFIBP2, also known as Liprin-beta-2, may play a role in regulating the disassembly of focal adhesions, which are structures that connect cells to the extracellular matrix. However, it does not appear to interact with receptor-like tyrosine phosphatases type 2A.

PPFIBP2 is also known as Cclp1.
