PHIP

Description

The PHIP (pleckstrin homology domain interacting protein) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 6.

PHIP is involved in regulating various cellular processes, including insulin signaling, cell growth, apoptosis, and cytoskeletal organization. It promotes cell proliferation by controlling cyclin transcription and protects cells from death by activating AKT1 through phosphorylation. PHIP also influences cell shape and cytoskeletal structure.

PHIP is also known as BRWD2, CHUJANS, DCAF14, DIDOD, WDR11, ndrp.
